WHAT OFTEN CAUSES THINGS TO FAIL

When Products Are Difficult to Explain

For manufacturers of technical products and products that need explaining, traditional photography is often not enough: too many variants, too many details, and too early in the development process. 3D product visualization closes that gap. Products are modeled precisely from CAD data, given realistic materials, and rendered in any view, variant, or format. The finished imagery can be reused for websites, sales, trade fairs, and print.

01

Many variations & details

Traditional images often fail to fully showcase materials, features, and specifications.

02

High need for explanation in sales

When images don’t communicate clearly enough, products require unnecessary explanation during the sales process.

03

The prototype isn't available yet

Products do not yet physically exist or exist only as one-off pieces and therefore cannot be photographed flexibly.

04

Inconsistent visual language

Different representations weaken product communication and look inconsistent across website, sales, and trade fairs.

WHAT WE DELIVER

From Data Set to Selling Point

Product visualization serves to present products, features, and differences in an understandable way and to support decision-making processes.

01

Product renderings

Photorealistic product visualizations for web, print, and trade fairs. Any perspective, any material, any environment, even without a finished prototype.

02

3D Animations

Animated function sequences, assembly steps and product demos. The process becomes clear in seconds, without anyone standing next to it to explain. For trade fairs, websites and social media.

03

Configurators & Viewers

Interactive 3D models: variants, colors, and options displayed live in the browser. Can be integrated directly into websites and landing pages.

04

CGI & Technical Visualization

Cutaway views, exploded views and technical illustrations as still images. Shows structure, components and materials precisely. For data sheets, manuals, training material and sales documents.

New product line, launch ahead of series production, no products available for photography.

02

Solution

CGI series based on CAD data: 18 images, 8 environments, all variants derived from a single model.

03

Impact

Campaign, catalog, and trade fair launched before the first series-produced unit.

FAQ Product Visualization / CGI

Frequently Asked Questions About Product Visualization

Transparency is important to us. Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about rendering projects.

What does a product visualization cost?

Simpler product renderings require less time and effort than more complex visualizations such as animations or interactive 3D configurators. The calculation always consists of two parts: the 3D model, including preparation of the CAD data, materials and scene setup, and everything created from it, billed per rendering view, animation or video. The model is built once and can then be reused for further views, variants and later projects. Every project is calculated individually based on the briefing, the level of detail required and the desired functionality.

Do you need an external developer for a 3D product configurator?

No. We build the entire configurator ourselves: design, 3D product, click logic, the overlay including coding, price calculator, screenshot export and animations of individual components including camera moves. No external development team required, one contact person for the whole project.

What can your product configurator do?

Real-time 3D view, switchable variants, colors and materials, live price calculation, directly accessible documents such as data sheets and manuals, plus animations of individual product parts with camera movement. Embedded in your website, with no plugin and no installation.

Are the visualizations suitable for print?

Yes, all renderings are produced at high resolution, so they can be used for both digital and print formats.

Do I need a finished prototype for a rendering?

No. We work with CAD data, technical drawings or detailed sketches. This is possible before a physical sample exists.

How long does a 3D product visualization take?

Every project starts with the one-time preparation of your 3D data. CAD files are textured, optimized and made production-ready. That is the basis for everything else. Individual views, variants or animations are created from there. The overall timeline depends on the scope and is assessed concretely after the first conversation.

Which formats do I receive afterwards?

We deliver renderings in the most common formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, MOV, MP4), or as interactive 3D models and animations that can be used across different platforms.

When is CGI worth it compared to a real product photo?

CGI is particularly worthwhile for technically complex products, large numbers of variants, products without an existing prototype, or when interior views and cutaways need to be shown.

Do you connect the 3D configurator to Shopware or an ERP system?

The configurator calculates prices, exports screenshots and provides stored documents. Deep integration with your ERP, inventory management or shop system in the background is not our focus, and we discuss this openly in the first conversation.

What is the difference between your renderings and AI-generated images?

AI-generated images are a powerful tool for atmospheric, creative imagery, but they reach their limits when it comes to true-to-scale product representation. Anyone who wants to visualize a product exactly according to technical data, in all variants and reusable across different formats needs classic 3D modeling and rendering.

Can I reuse the 3D models later?

The prepared models remain in our system and can be used directly for later projects, for example new views, variants, animations or formats. That saves you time and effort on follow-up projects.
